The Thornhills are dedicated to growing superior wine grapes in Mendocino County and are guided by a philosophy of "leaving things better than we find them." This translates to high standards for both winery operations and vineyard cultivation practices, including a farm-to-table garden program, wildlife habitat preservation, and a nationally recognized water conservation and reclamation program. The grapes for each Parducci wine are sourced from distinct vineyard parcels in and around Mendocino County, each with its own microclimate and soil composition. Each lot is individually vinified and cellared to develop its own unique body and flavor profiles. Head Winemaker Bob Swain then thoughtfully gauges each lot’s characteristics to achieve a final blend with just the right balance of flavor and texture Parducci operates with a deep commitment to environmentally sound vineyard practices, including 100% green powered winery operations and a nationally recognized water conservation and reclamation program.
