The main model is complemented by two satellites: the Shuttle and the Sputnik that rotate almost twice as fast as the globe. A UNIQUE MECHANISM: All UGears model making kits for adults and 3D puzzles for kids are powered by a rubber-band motor. However, the Globe wooden construction set uses a different type of winding method. A lever in the base, once pulled clockwise all the way, will fully wind up the mechanism.
