The Very Wise Lake is the third book in the Road Trip Tales series. Each book teaches interesting facts about an amazing landmark through a story that captures your heart and imagination. Review This is another great book by the author Leah Vis. My children enjoyed not only the story, but the pictures as well. They pointed out little things on each page, such as the doors in the rocks, the birds, and the squirrel. When we finished this story, they asked when we could go visit Lake Tahoe again. Now, we need to plan a trip to all the places Loda took us too. There is a great lesson in this story and I appreciate the thought that went into this story. Definitely recommend!!!! -- Tiffany So excited to see a new book from Leah Vis for the Road Trip Tales series! My family and I have enjoyed being transported to all these beautiful destinations. My children love reading the stories in each of the books and identifying with the main character. I love how each of the author's books have a message, in The Very Wise Lake, the main lesson is honesty and the importance of integrity. The images, together with the illustrations and message make this book enchanting. Highly recommend it. -- Luz The photos in this book are gorgeous. Which is not surprising, considering the others in this beautiful series. I love how the story integrates the history of Lake Tahoe, while telling an important tale of honesty and responsibility.
