The Breakaway Knicker, available in black or charcoal, is now one of our most popular bottoms and is made of a silky, lightweight performance fabric that will allow you to use it comfortably in a wide variety of temperatures without overheating or getting sunburned. Equipped with Terry's Fleet chamois with just the right amount of padding for a full day on the bike. Terry proudly manufactures this short in the USA at a green energy-certified sewing facility. PRODUCT DETAILS - nylon/spandex fabric - sculpted 6-panel fit - 2 inch elastic-free comfort waistband - 2 inch elastic-free, self-fabric leg bands for comfort - flat seam construction helps prevent chafing - 18 inch inseam - Fleet Chamois with soft wing technology CHAMOIS Fleet Chamois: Seamless chamois with four-way stretch Elastic Interface Technology. Light, smooth microfiber fabric cover and soft construction reduces bulk at inner thigh to avoid chafing. Made in Italy. PRODUCT CARE: Remove your knickers and launder asap for best results as residual sweat may damage the chamois. Wash only in delicate cycle at 86 degrees. Use neutral non-aggressive detergents, keep like colors together and avoid dryers. If you use chamois butter/cream, your garment's ability to wick moisture will be greatly reduced and the durability of your chamois may be compromised. Note: we recommend that you wash new bottoms prior to use.
