Additionally, because of the extremely strong, yet soft and pliable nylon ribbon webbing, this allows you to simply wrap it around your wrist at 5.5’ft hand held distance to hook-in point to point, as it will not hurt your hands even when pulling in strong current.

At Wicked Design and Engineering, we designed this reef hook for the same reason we design or re-design all of our products….to solve a problem. Which is better: four feet or so and be close to the reef? Or maybe a few feet farther away to ride higher and take the wide angle photos? Maybe you just want a quick hand strap to hook in and move from location to location without clipping in or out. Like me, maybe you want to stow your hook on your waist strap out of way and keep it there in the event of a sudden current on any given dive.
