Somehow she always ended up writing about great food, amazingplaces, fascinating people and unique events. Her work has appeared innumerous travel and expat publications as well as newspapers andmagazines in and around Santa Cruz, California. Originally fromNew York, she spent most of her adult life in Santa Cruz until moving to Mazatlán, Mexico in 2006. There she started M! Magazine, an Englishmonthly publication, and also founded the Mercado Organico de Mazatlán, a weekly open-air market where local farmers sell their organically grown produce and products. After living for two years in a tinyrural town on the coast in Nayarit, Mexico, where she wrote, gardened,surfed and practiced the art of relaxation, Janet moved back to Mazatlan and the hustle-bustle of the biog city.
