This workbook is written for abacus practices. A physical abacus is required to be presence when using this book (see bottom of the descriptions for abacus specs). In the abacus theory, the numbers have a unique set of rules that are applied to 1 through 9. A complete total of 34 abacus rules exists. To learn abacus is to learn all the rules. In the book, the rules will be explained 1 by 1 with practice questions followed. The contents: 1. Solving basics, 400 questions, 10 pages. 2. Rules, 1,360 questions, 34 pages. 3. Mixed reviews, 320 questions, 8 pages. The rules of abacus are paged in order, plus mixed reviews in between; with images illustrating how rules are used. Physical abacus (soroban) is a required material that’s not included with this book. The abacus must have 1 bead on top and 4 beads on bottom, with a recommended minimum 13-columns. We recommend this book as teaching materials and we welcome photocopies of our contents. The youngest that can learn an abacus is 4 ‘n half year old and must know how to write 0 to 9.
