One-time rocker (e.g. You Turn Me On ) Ian Whitcomb s amazing re-creation of the music played on the Titanic as it went down won a Grammy for its elaborate packaging, and set new standards for historically-minded recordings. However, this landmark project was allowed to slip beneath the seas in recent years, so we at Collectors Choice Music felt it was high time to bring its treasures to the surface. This is pre-World War I music, performed on period instruments just like those played by the fabled White Star Orchestra on the deck of the Titanic, while the packaging includes historic photos, memorabilia, verse and liner notes inside a 40-page booklet.
