Product Description This book begins with a history of the company, and information on doll tags and cleaning tips are provided. The dolls are then presented alphabetically by series, in a user-friendly, checklist-type format that makes identification easy. Each doll is pictured in full color, and item number, date of issue, availability, size, and current market value is given. There are spaces provided for the collector to record amount paid for the doll and date purchased. 2004 values. About the Author John was born in Amityville, New York in 1962. He, his younger brother, and parents stayed in New York until 1972 when his father was transferred to Pennsylvania. They lived in the beautiful Amish country area in Pennsylvania for three years until John’s father was transferred again, this time to New Jersey. John completed his education in New Jersey and at the age of 16 started working for Pathmark Supermarkets as a cart boy and cashier. When John turned 18 he started building a race car, one of his passions through his growing years. Because of his race car building, John became top mechanic and worked with his parents in the service station they owned. John is now a warranty technician for one of the largest insurance companies in the country. Malinda was born in 1962 on Naha Air Force Base in Okinawa, Japan. Her father was an Air Force Master Sergeant at the time. Her mother was a native of Okinawa. Malinda and her parents lived in Okinawa for nine years until they moved to Langley Air Force Base in Virginia. Malinda completed her education at Tabb High School in Virginia. Malinda moved to New Jersey in 1987 where she met future husband John. When John’s parents moved to Florida, John and Malinda made the move with them. They were married on Valentine’s Day, 1991.
