From the Manufacturer Simpson Swan Secure S07225TCM Painted Swaneze Trim Head 6-Lobe Drive Screw Mocha 1750 pieces. Durable powder-coated finish painted heads blend with decking material. Small .23-inch diameter with trim head and type-17 point for fast starts. Offers coarse threads approximately 2/3 up the shank to draw the decking tight to the substrate. Pre-drilling recommended near board ends to prevent splitting. Choose stainless steel 316 for seaside applications and superior corrosion resistance. Simpson offers their Decking Screws in either Deck Packs of 350-count or Contractor Packs of 1750-count. Deck Packs contain 350 screws or enough to fasten 100 square feet when using 6-inch nominal boards on 16-inch centers. Contractor Packs contain 1750 screws or enough to fasten 500 square feet when using 6-inch nominal boards on 16-inch centers.
