About Schluter Kerdi-Shower-SB 11-1/2 In. X 32 In. Bench
Schluter®-KERDI-SHOWER-SB is a prefabricated substrate bench, made of expanded polystyrene foam, for use in conjunction with the KERDI waterproofing membrane. Schluter-KERDI-SHOWER-ST/-SC/-SR/-SB/-L/-LS prefabricated substrates are manufactured using lightweight expanded polystyrene. The products require no special disposal and can be recycled. No CFCs or HCFCs are present in either the products or in the manufacturing process. The polystyrene foam has a density of 2.75 lb/ft3 (44 kg/m3) with a 48 psi (331 kPa) compressive strength at 10% deformation. It is serviceable in temperatures up to 175°F (79 °C). The expanded polystyrene used to manufacture KERDI-SHOWER-ST/-SC/-SR/-SB is treated with a flame retarding agent.
