We enjoy using straws for a variety of reasons and with these pretty coloured soft straws we can continue to do so while upholding our commitment to the environment. As they are virtually indestructible but can be cut to length as required and can be recycled. Young children love them as they are flexible and bend easily while still allowing fluid to pass. We are also testing them with the elderly to help cut costs for the residential care home. As silicone is such a stable material it does not leach chemicals. The straws will not conduct temperature so no burning lips on hot drinks. It is extremely durable and heat tolerant it will not crack, melt or break like plastic straws and as silicone is much more expensive to produce to a food grade material hence they cost a lot more than plastic straws.
