About RADEX By Quarta-Rad RD1008 High Accuracy
RADEX RD1008 is the latest radiation detector in the RADEX family of radiation detectors. This device uses two tablet-based radiation sensors (1x Beta-2 and 1x Beta-2M). RD1008 is highly accurate and allows the user to reset calibration settings. Detection cycle has been reduced to 21 seconds, while the battery needs reduced to 1 x "AA" with the continuous operation of up to 500 hours. Having two separate, highly accurate sensors allows the device to display values for Beta- and Gamma- radiation measurements separately. Gamma-radiation is displayed in micro Sieverts per hour (mcSv/hr). Beta-radiation is displayed in units of measure. Separating the resulting values for beta- and Gamma- radiation allows to easily distinguish for various radiation sources like Strontium-90 (Beta-) and Cesium-137/134 (Gamma-). Range of dose measurement 0.01~999.0 microSv/hr. Power Supply 1 x "AA" battery. Weight 175g (without battery). Calibration settings can be adjusted manually.
