About PRO SERIES Ceiling Grid Punch Pliers, 4x Hardened
Tired of your punch plier tips wearing out after a couple of jobs? Well not any more! These Pro-Series grid punch pliers have a custom 4x hardened die tip that is so strong and durable it can even punch Stainless steel grid without dulling the tip. Standard tips are only a Rockwell hardness of 13 and then chrome coated. Once the chrome wears through, the tips deteriorate quickly. Strictly Ceilings has designed and field-tested a tip that is 4 times as strong and hardened all the way through to give you the longest lasting, professional-use tip possible. These Professional Series Punch Pliers feature a quality, USA hand-crafted, 4x-hardened tip as well as a two-way lock-nut to keep the pliers from loosening or tightening during continual use. These punch pliers have an 1/8" (3.175mm) die set for punching metal ceiling grid in both 15/16" and 9/16" width. This tool will easily punch heavy duty drywall grid. PRO and Standard replacement tips are also available. PHOTO NOTE: Photo shows PRO Tip painted yellow, however we are excited to announce a product improvement: The Pro Punch Tip is now Zinc-Plated...we no longer hand-paint the tips yellow, which eliminates the flaking of paint chips during use!
