About Maxel OMS10S Conventional Reel
The Maxel OMS Ocean Max Specialty Lever Drag Reel is built for catching sailfish and white marlin! It is constructed of aluminum with heat treated stainless steel gears and six shielded stainless steel ball bearings for smoothness and corrosion resistance. The carbon fiber drag system in the OMS is specifically designed for fishing with monofilament for sails and marlin. It has a wide range but the drag makes an even progression as you move the lever forward. The click detent drag system eliminates drift and you can easily match the drag range to the line test you are fishing. Maxel OMS Ocean Max Specialty Lever Drag Reels are available in two sizes. They both have a 5.8:1 gear ratio so that you can retrieve line quickly. The OMS10S picks up 45" of line per crank and the OMS16S grabs 56". These are great blue water reels!
