The Mackie PROFX8V2 8-Channel Compact Mixer offers all the professional tools you need for the studio and live sound reinforcement applications. The PROFX8V2 provides unmatched low-noise performance thanks to the four Vita mic preamps, which feature a discrete Class-A front end design, dual feedback stabilization and bias current optimization. The ReadyFX effects engine elevates every performance to inspire audiences with its floating-point DSP design that can handle intensive processing of high-quality audio. Additionally, the effects engine offers 16 effects to choose from and features a 7-band graphic EQ for tuning mains of monitors. The mixer offers an FX mute with remote control via footswitch and Break switch, which mutes all channels for music playback between sets. Multiple connectivity options include 8 line inputs, 60mm faders for input channels, return, and main/monitor masters, plus the addition of a Hi-Z input for directly connecting guitar, bass, and other instruments. The unit also offers XLR and ¼” main outputs, an Aux output, stereo RCA tape I/O with input level control as well as a headphone out with volume control. With a 100 Hz low-cut filter and 48V phantom power on all mic channels and a built-in USB interface for Mac and PC, the Mackie PROFX8V2 Mixer provides the ultimate mixing experience.
