This Lakeland ChemMax 3 C3T450 disposable Level B encapsulated suit with rear entry and expanded back is a totally encapsulating suit (TES) for protecting workers from hazardous materials in chemical manufacturing, hazardous waste cleanup, and pesticide application. It is made of spunbond polypropylene nonwoven fabric for lightweight strength, softness, and resistance to chemicals and moisture, and the fabric is coated with a multilayered barrier film for reduced penetration of air, moisture, and water vapor. The face mask is made of 20 mil thick polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for resistance to cracking and tearing, and the seams are sewn and sealed with a heat-activated tape to help block liquids and particulates. A double storm flap over the zipper, elastic closures at the wrists, and attached boot socks with boot flaps provide additional protection from hazardous materials. This disposable encapsulating suit has two exhaust ports and an expanded back to accommodate a self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) worn inside the suit. Lakeland Industries manufactures protective clothing for foundries, ceramic manufacturers, chemical plants, and health care facilities. The company, founded in 1982, is headquartered in Ronkonkoma, NY.
