Groberg was called to the First Quorum of the Seventy in April 1976. He has served as the executive administrator for several areas of the Church. Prior to receiving the call to become a General Authority, Elder Groberg served as a Regional Representative, as a mission president in Tonga (where he had earlier served a full-time mission), and as a bishop. A native of Idaho Falls, Idaho, he graduated from Brigham Young University and received a master of business administration degree from Indiana University The author is married to Jean Sabin Groberg, and they are the parents of eleven children.
