About Adam Equipment AE 402 Stainless Steel LCD Weight
The Adam Equipment AE402 weight indicator for wash-down applications has a grade 304 stainless steel housing and wall-mount bracket for use with one to four load cell platforms when weighing outdoors, on a loading dock, in a warehouse, or in other industrial buildings. The sealed indicator and keypad allow the AE402 to be used in wash-down applications, and the unit is rated to IP65 level of protection against dust and water. The rechargeable battery offers up to 90 hours of operation on a single charge, or can be used with the included AC adapter. A green backlit 6-digit liquid crystal display with a character height of 40 mm shows results in six weighting units: kilograms, grams, pounds, ounces, pound-ounces, and Newton's, with check-weighing LEDs showing acceptable weight limits. Indicator has an RS-232 bi-directional interface for communicating with a PC or printer. Useful functions of this indicator include external calibration, capacity tracker, hold measurement, and auto-sleep or power down to save battery life. Applications include weighing, parts counting, dynamic weighing (as when weighing animals), and percentage weighing.
