About Color Changing Photochromic Pigment Powder

- Our photochromic pigment powder changes color when exposed to sunlight or UV rays, and reverts to its original color when sunlight is blocked. After absorbing the light energy from the sun, the molecular structure is changed, which causes the color absorbed to appear. This effect is reversed when the light stimuli are dimmed or blocked (aka color changes back when you block the sun or go indoors). - All our photochromic pigment powders are encapsulated which means you can use them to make photochromic paint, inks, resin epoxy, water-based mediums, plastic, gels, acrylic and so much more without damaging the pigment or drying out the medium. - Pigments can appear transparent in a clear medium with a lower powder mixing ratio. These photochromic pigments can be used for a variety of applications! - Screen Print an invisible design onto a shirt that can only be seen on a bright sunny day! Alternatively, mix yellow photochromic pigment with blue-tinted paint to create a light blue paint that turns green when exposed to sunlight! The color combinations are truly endless with these photochromic pigment powders!
