The Gradual Split Neutral Density Filter is designed to allow you to control exposure when shooting a scene in which one side of frame is brighter by cutting the light to give a much more equal exposure throughout the frame. The Filter is a Rectangular Optical Grade Glass. The Split Neutral Density Filter is gives you a gradual light reduction from 0 to ND0.9 (ND8) Neutral Density filter evenly reduce the amount of light passing through the lens without effecting color. Ideal for reducing bright light in large aperture situations when a narrow depth is field is needed. Neutral Density Filters are often used to achieve motion blur effects with slow shutter speeds
