This Square D 9038AG1C float-operated mechanical alternator for use with water, hydraulic oils, and corrosive fluids switches between two pumps or motors within a duplex system in one open tank. It has a NEMA 1 enclosure for protection, contacts that close on liquid rise, and includes a compensating spring. Square D switches are manufactured by Schneider Electric.
