The Stuart SSL3 waving platform shaker has a speed range of 5 to 70 rpm; a platform with a rubber nonslip mat that holds culture plates, media bottles, and Erlenmeyer flasks with a total weight of 10kg; digital control and LED readout of speed and time; timed operation up to 999 minutes; and a platform tilt angle that is manually adjustable from 3 to 12 degrees for gentle to moderately vigorous three-dimensional (gyrating) agitation. It has an allowable ambient temperature range of 4 to 40 degrees C at 80% humidity. When the set time has elapsed, an alarm sounds and the platform stops moving, or the unit can be set for continuous operation. This shaker is used in a variety of laboratory procedures, including cell culture, hematology, and chemical mixing.
