The Boekel Orbitron II 260250 Platform Rotator is a benchtop analog shaker that uses 115V to rotate at speeds between 6 to 25 orbits per minute, and has an adjustable tilt angle, a thin power cord, a rugged 30.5 x 30.5cm/12 x 12" (W x D) steel platform, and two non-skid mats. (W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back.) This shaker provides gentle to vigorous agitation and uniform mixing of samples. Speed is adjustable with a rotary control knob for ease of operation. The tilt angle is manually adjustable between 0 to 23 degrees by applying pressure. The unit has a thin power cord that passes through incubator door gaskets. The rugged steel tray platform is corrosion-resistant and has notches for bungee cords to tie down vessels. A vinyl, dimpled mat (included) holds test tubes and can be removed for cleaning and test tube transport. A flat mat (included) can hold various types of vessels.
