This Aprilaire Space-Guard 16x28x6 replacement furnace filter is a MERV 8 aftermarket replacement manufactured by FilterBuy. It is designed to fit Aprilaire 2400 air cleaners. Nominal size of 16x28x6. Actual dimensions are 15.38 x 26.98 x 6. Note that unlike the replacement media, this filter is a boxed cardboard frame that is designed to drop directly into the existing plastic housing, not requiring additional fingers for support. This AFB Silver MERV 8 replacement filter is designed to last 6 months. The filters ship directly from the manufacturer to your doorstep, allowing AFB the ability to offer a premium product at a reasonable price.Each quantity purchased is for a pack of 2 filters. Note that AFB 16x28x6 Apriliare-Space-Guard replacement filters come in AFB Silver (Merv 8), AFB Gold (Merv 11), and AFB Platinum (Merv 13).
