Small Wooden Cutting Board and Bar Board by Villa Acacia This small 12 inch cutting board is a versatile and convenient tool for the home chef. From slicing fruit, to mincing herbs or just splicing a sandwich, this board is the perfect size for the job. Weighing in at only 2 pounds, this board is easy to handle and can be used to transfer vegetables directly from the cutting board to stove. Don’t let the light weight fool you however! Made from tropical Acacia wood, a durable hardwood, this cutting board can withstand big jobs like chopping and accidental drops with no issue. At a full 3/4 inch thick, it won’t easily warp like thinner wood boards. Chopping juicy fruits or vegetables likes oranges or tomatoes? The outer juice rim (aka juice groove, juice well or drip groove) helps to channel those liquids before they make a mess on your counters. Don’t need it? Simply flip over to the flat side! Recommended uses include: Making fruit garnishes Mincing herbs Cutting sandwiches Chopping apples and fruit Slicing cheese Serving plate for crackers and cheese snacks Steak serving board Appetizer plate Karate tournaments (...just kidding!) Maintenance: All genuine wood cutting boards require a little bit of TLC and ours is no different. Please apply a food grade mineral oil every few months to keep the wood hydrated.
