The Carlisle 4040305 Silicone Basting Brush with Hook has silicone bristles that are designed to carry and evenly spread liquid across food items. Silicone withstands temperatures up to 500 degrees F, resists stains and odors, and is dishwasher safe. Color is red to denote use for high-heat cooking applications. A molded-in hanging hook on the handle grabs bowl or pan edges to keep the brush from sliding in. Bristle trim is 1-3/4 x 1-3/4 inches; overall length is 9-3/4 inches.
