About GlowShift 1/8 BSPT Male To 1/8-27 NPT Female Hex
GlowShift’s Hex Adapter is a universal adapter that can be used as an oil adapter or fuel adapter as well as other types. It was made to secure the installation of any sensor in order to take effective readings from the corresponding gauge. This gauge accessory allows for the factory sensor to be installed along with an aftermarket sensor or feed line which can be installed at the same location. This adapter is made from mild steel with a nickel zinc coating to prevent rust, includes (1) male and (1) female 1/8 BSPT thread and is ideal for sensors that will not properly thread into your stock port. A total of (3) 1/8-27 NPT threads were also built in to ensure the sensor has a secure fit, and the remaining ports can easily be plugged. This installation process is nearly effortless, requiring no drilling or welding. Simply remove the factory sensor and thread in the adapter, using a 22mm wrench to tighten, and your adapter will be ready for use. Then thread the factory sensor or an aftermarket sensor into the top of the adapter. Please note that if you are using this adapter as a temperature adapter, a test port extender must be purchased since most temperature sensors will not fit through this borehole. It is also recommended that you use Teflon tape on each thread to prevent any leaks and to ensure a secure connection.
