About the Author Karolyn Grimes, the actress who played Zuzu Bailey in the Christmas classic, It's a Wonderful Life, starred in eighteen movies as a child actress with many of the greats, including John Wayne, Cary Grant, and Bing Crosby. Orphaned when she was fifteen, she was sent from Hollywood to the Midwest where she later became a med tech, a wife, and a mother. She continues to spread the hope and cheer of "It's a Wonderful Life," and helped found both the annual It's a Wonderful Life Festival and It's a Wonderful Life Museum in Seneca Falls, NY. She is still acting and singing, and lives in Redding California. Franklin Dohanyos is a Public Relations Specialist, writer, TV personality, published author, actor, and musician who enjoys playing guitar and bagpipes. He is also a licensed Lay Deacon in the LCMS and serves a Lutheran church in Michigan.
