Volume 2 of Pravda's tribute to K-Tel Records of the early 70's, is a star-studded feast of beautiful, strange,and forgotten rock 'n' roll filtered through the 90's by 20 hi-powered bands. Where else can you find John Wesley Harding and Kelly Hogan paying homage to Donny and Marie? Or King Missile taking a swing at Orleans, just because both bands have a singer named John Hall? Or Uncle Tupelo doing the classic road son "Movin On". Or The Dayglo Abortions incinerating "I Write The Songs"? The list goes on and on.
