Both the 134a and R1234yf low-side quick coupler adapters have flow control valves and quick release safety blowback technology. We want to make sure you can add more than one can at a time without removing the whole setup and restarting. You can turn the flow off at the vehicle or at the can.
R1234yf only comes in the new self-sealing cans and newer R134a cans are all self-sealing so we supply a self-sealing can tap for both of those. Some places still allow the single puncture can, and some people still have some in their garage so we include the R-134a single puncture can tap.
We include puncture ports aka bullet valves. These are great for sealed refrigerators, or that old Car/Truck when the ports have stopped working. Tighten it down and make a charge port. Just be sure to turn the flow off with the including wrench before disconnecting.
All out can taps are brass, and all the adapters are brass, aluminum, and steel. Our philosophy is to sell you what we use on our cars, and have in our garage. We hope you like it, but shop worry-free as everything is covered by Amazon's hassle-free return policy.
Use at your own risk. If in doubt watch a you tube video or consult a pro.
This is the full kit for recharging or charging a car or truck. You always charge from low-side and you're going to be concerned with low side pressure as that tells you the temperature of the air coming out. Follow the manufactures instructions, be safe, and enjoy. We are here if you have any questions. Number one is be safe, I've personally gotten frost bite more than once working on an AC, it isn't fun, and it can cause permanent damage, wear some safety glasses. The quality is great, the versatility is great, it is small and simple just what you need for a recharge or charge. If you're having a more in-depth problem you do need high-side to diagnose that, but for 95% of the issues this kit will do everything you need. Any problems or questions please let us know we are here to help.
