About "Double Shirley Mix" Poppy Seeds For
The Double Shirley Poppy Flower Mix will yield poppies with delicate 2" double blooms in salmon, rose, pink, and red. These perennial flowers can be spring or fall planted. It prefers to be planted in an area with full sun. The Poppy will not abide root agitation, so it can only be transplanted if it is done when it is very small. This flower should be planted directly outdoors, in the ground. The seeds for the Poppy are very small, and only need to be planted as deep as they are wide, which is not deep, just broadcast them on a rainy day. Often success can be found by scattering the seeds on top of loose garden soil and watering them in. All our seeds are Home Grown in the USA - Isla's Garden
