About AlveyTech OKIN W52RA76-290018 Lift Chair Power
The AlveyTech OKIN W52RA76-290018 Lift Chair Power Supply/Transformer replaces OKIN's earlier SP2-B and SP2-B2 transformer models, and it is compatible with a wide range of lift chair models from Golden, Pride, and other brands. Do not let the modest price fool you; this is a first-class lift chair transformer and it will retrofit on those models which used the previous transformer units. This transformer uses a 9 volt emergency backup system to supply enough power to return to lift chair into an egress position if the main electric power is cut off. You will need to purchase a pair of standard 9 volt batteries if you do not already have them. Note: This transformer does not come with cords but they may be purchased separately. In addition, the aperture for a plug-in transformer cable holds the male plug a little tighter than that which may have been used on previous transformer models. This is by design and is made so the cord remains secured in the plug. Although it requires just a little extra push to insert or remove, this safety feature helps prevent the cord from accidently coming undone.
