SIMPLE HOW TO MAKE DIY BEESWAX FOOD WRAPS -- Prepare your area. Protect countertops in the work area. Rosin is quite sticky when melted. --Melt the same amount of beeswax as rosin. Use a 50/50 ratio. A double boiler is ideal but if necessary use a saucepan filled at least halfway to the top, put the stove on medium low. Put a large bowl that sits into the saucepan but doesn’t sink. Put the beeswax into the bowl. The heated water will melt the beeswax. Then, add the CAMP BEN 4oz Rosin. Give it a stir. Add 2-3 drops of jojoba oil or a ½ teaspoon of coconut oil to the mixture. Stir again. Wait a few minutes, stir again. As you stir, you’ll notice the rosin starting to melt. The rosin will be melted when the mixture is all liquid and ready to use. --Use a brush to dip into the mixture and brush onto precut cotton cloth. --If you’ve brushed too much and it’s thick, place the beeswax cloth into a low oven at 170 degrees and rebrush to thin out the beeswax. --Hang to dry. Use after the fabric is NOT tacky to touch.
