About H. Siegler HS-20 Student Orchestral Violin Outfit

At the heart of the new H. Ziegler orchestral student outfit is a full-size violin – meticulously Handcrafted from the finest materials – that is beautiful to look at, has an exceptional tone, and an ease of playability encouraging to any aspiring musician. H. Ziegler believes that it is ultimately the quality of the instrument, and how it inspires the student at the earliest stage of the learning process that has the greatest impact on their success. To achieve that goal, each feature of the new H. Ziegler orchestral student violin outfit was purposely selected to do just that…to make the learning process rewarding, and fun by offering value to our outfits where it is needed most. “H. Ziegler value” starts by hand selecting the finest tone woods to construct each instrument. We travel the world in search of tone woods like high-quality all solid, close-grained spruce to perfectly carved and graduated each top, as well as solid maple for the back, sides and neck – not just for its tonal properties, but for its stability, too. Unlike other student instruments at this price point, H. Ziegler takes the time to allow these tone woods to significantly dry-age prior to construction to assure that they are perfectly seasoned and ready to be crafted into the fine instrument they are destined to become. For optimum playability, H. Ziegler also adheres to historically significant, and educator-approved specifications that include the finest grade-A ebony for the tuning pegs, fingerboard and nut. This exotic hardwood is expertly shaped into the highly polished fingerboard that allows the students’ fingers to glide effortlessly while practicing their scales and orchestral pieces, and into the comfortably shaped pegs that turn easy and hold their tune better. Aiding in the tuning process, and to provide an even greater level of accuracy and stability, each outfit also includes an Anton Breton composite fine-tuner tailpiece! Completing the H. Ziegler orchestral student outfit we’ve also included an ergonomically shaped case with a plush interior; covered in a black, luggage-grade exterior for lightweight, form-fitted protection that also insulates from changes in climate that can be detrimental to an instruments long-term stability. Other accessories include a balanced hardwood bow with ebony frog and genuine unbleached horsehair, a rosin cake, an Anton Breton shoulder rest, a Golden gate PT-1 compact electronic tuner, and an extra set of D’Addario strings!.
