0.8 mm diameter is versatile, like a thin paper clip wire; thicker than 0.5 but not as stiff as 1.0. May be just the perfect fit.
Available in 0.5 to 1.6mm diameters
Corrosion resistant. Used in marine and industrial settings where resistance to most harsh chemicals is required.
Biocompatible. Used in jewelry making and implants.
Unbelievably lightweight for its strength.
Pure Titanium wire. Also known as Grade 1, surgical grade. Element 22 is light, strong, and corrosion resistant. Titanium is incredibly light; 1 kg of 0.5mm wire is almost a mile in length. It is suited for medical, aerospace, aviation, and marine environments. Titanium wire does not stretch, so if you pull it very hard, at a certain point it will break without elongating. This may be a desired property for some applications, and certainly superior in strength to aluminum wire if used for a mechanical or structural reinforcement application.
