TIP #1: Some folks try to sell regular refrigerator thermostats as a freezer/fridge conversion kit... Don't use them for your beer cooler, the operating range goes far below the freezing point (0ºF)... Too many brewers lost a whole batch of excellent, but frozen beer! Our conversion thermostat is custom made for your brewing project, ranging from 30ºF to 50ºF. TIP #2: Programmable digital thermostats. Whenever a short power failure occurs like in bad weather or other short interrupts, the thermostat stops working and need to be manually reset. You will find out when you open the cooler door, 90 degrees inside... Converts any freezer into a super efficient refrigerator or kegerator.
